it’s almost summer reading time!
i just got the information about my son’s summer reading. i love this these unhurried months when you can wander into adventures and get lost in story just for the pure joy of it, no homework (halleluiah!), or projects to complete, deadlines to make. i plan to have a nice and easy-breezy stack of books and magazines on my bedside table and in my beach bag. i’ve also been taking the time read more blogs, getting back to basics and where my blogging roots began.
way back when, i remember loving those hours where i would sit and click and click, and read and read, and find the most beautiful images and words one page after another… it was what really inspired and propelled me to write on my own blog and connect with others. it’s how wishstudio came to be.
so once again, this summer it’s time to pay homage to the blogs i love, old and new, and spend some quality time reading and going deeper into the blogworld, slow down and enjoy a couple of splendid hours per week of just sitting and exploring other blogs. that is why we all work so tirelessly to exist in this space, right? i am so excited to come by and see you and be captivated all over again!
are you with me? ready to spread the blog love during the great summer blog read?
grab a button (above), a cold drink and a comfy chair, and help spread the word and blogging love. comment here to have your blog added to our Summer BlogRead Blogroll. you can join at any time, and kick off will be on the solstice, June 21st! there are just a few rules…
1. devote some of your summer reading time to blogs old and new, including participating lovelies on our blogroll.
2. grab a button and link back to our blogroll (which will appear under the badge on the sidebar).
3. leave friendly comments of love and appreciation on the posts (not on facebook!). honor thy blog!
4. write, photograph, create and share your own juicy posts, then open your front door and let friends wander by.
that is all. just what we need… a little more connecting and creating for the summer, old school!
happy blogging everyone!
