it’s almost summer reading time!
i just got the information about my son’s summer reading. i love this these unhurried months when you can wander into adventures and get lost in story just for the pure joy of it, no homework (halleluiah!), or projects to complete, deadlines to make. i plan to have a nice and easy-breezy stack of books and magazines on my bedside table and in my beach bag. i’ve also been taking the time read more blogs, getting back to basics and where my blogging roots began.
way back when, i remember loving those hours where i would sit and click and click, and read and read, and find the most beautiful images and words one page after another… it was what really inspired and propelled me to write on my own blog and connect with others. it’s how wishstudio came to be.

o once again, this summer it’s time to pay homage to the blogs i love, old and new, and spend some quality time reading and going deeper into the blogworld, slow down and enjoy a couple of splendid hours per week of just sitting and exploring other blogs. that is why we all work so tirelessly to exist in this space, right? i am so excited to come by and see you and be captivated all over again!

Thank you for this. I have such a long list of blogs bookmarked in my computer that I always mean to get to again. And your post has given me the impetus. My own blog has been sadly neglected so I will will take this as my challenge to get back on my horse (and I love horses so….)
And you should know that as many blogs inspired you to create your wish-world, so too have you inspired me and many others to create ones of their own.
Here’s to summer; to lazy reading in the sun; to cool waters at our feet but not on our pages; to lemonade and music and relaxing.

Michelle’s comments could have been my own. Mindy, thank you for inspiring me to brush away the cobwebs and clear up some writing space (and time) on my blog.
My desire for my blog, which is also my business blog, is to combine inspiration writing with just whatever the heck I feel like talking about. Sometimes I struggle with how to mix the two. Do you have any thoughts around that you’d be willing to share?
